Reece Topley is a professional cricketer who has represented England across all formats and played in the world’s biggest franchise tournaments. Known for his height, pace, and ability to swing the ball, he has become one of the most respected bowlers on the international stage.
With a career that has included record-breaking performances at Lord’s and competing alongside legends like Virat Kohli in the IPL, Reece understands both the highs of elite sport and the challenges of repeated injuries. His journey has been defined not only by skill, but also by resilience, discipline, and the mental strength to thrive under constant scrutiny.
Recovery plays a central role in his performance. A long-time user of ice baths, Reece incorporates Chill Tubs into his daily routine to reduce soreness, accelerate recovery, and reset mentally after training and matches. For him, the Chill Tub is as much about maintaining physical sharpness as it is about finding calm, balance, and consistency in a demanding sporting schedule.
What’s been the standout highlight of your career so far, and why?
“The one highlight that would stand out for me is getting six wickets at Lords against India, which I think was the English record for Best Figures in an ODI. Doing it in North London with lots of friends and family at the game, then celebrating with them afterwards, was incredible. It’s something I’ll always cherish.”

Who stands out as the most memorable player you’ve faced?
“The most memorable opponent would be Virat Kohli. The first time playing against him felt like facing a giant because of his aura and reputation. Later, being able to call him a teammate at Bangalore was also a massive highlight.”

Beyond skill, what mindset matters most in cricket?
“You need to be able to take criticism from all angles, social media, news, papers, and silence the noise while trusting yourself and your abilities. Cricket is global now, and everyone has an opinion, so resilience and self-belief are key.”

How does the Chill Tubs Original fit into your recovery routine?
“My Chill Tubs Original is set twice daily (6–8am and 6–8pm) at 4°C. I do about four minutes each time, often after endurance training or a long day in the field. I also use it first thing in the morning to centre myself, and sometimes with teammates.”

How does Chill Tubs help with your recovery and injuries?
“They’re essential. I hate the feeling of being stiff after a day’s play, and the difference in freshness and mobility after using the Chill Tub is incredible. For someone my size, it’s even more noticeable.”

What differences have you noticed since using Chill Tubs?
“Absolutely. The difference in how quickly I feel fresh and mobile after games is massive. It helps me recover faster, feel looser, and perform better.”
